Disbelief
I'm not ready for it to be my last week here in Paris. This semester has gone incredibly quickly, I can't believe that tomorrow is May.
I want tomorrow to be feburary.

the greatest thing, EVER.
Touristy Things i've done so far:
become incredibly dizzy going down the 422 steps of the spiral staircase of Notre Dame Cathedral
been hit on by suspicious middle aged european men
bought/written post cards
climbed Montmartre
climbed the 422 steps of the Notre Dame Cathedral
destroyed personal property for the sake of a photo
hit up an overpriced American focused dive bar
missed my metro stop/gone the wrong way on a line
not been able to go five minutes, err, seconds, without stopping to take more pictures
received bad customer service because of my lack of french
risked my life for the sake of a photo
rode les Car Rouges
saw Place de la Bastille
saw Place de la Concorde
saw the Eiffel Tower
saw the Pantheon
seen Place St. Michel
taken an absurd number of pics of the Eiffel Tower
taken pictures of buildings/statues/objects that i could not later identify
visited la Louvre
visited Musee d'Orsay
visited Notre Dame du Paris
walked the Jardins du Louxembourg
walked the Red Light District/saw Moulin Rouge
Parisian Things i've done so far:
ate beaucoup du fromage
ate beaucoup du pain
ate fondue at a french restaurant with french people
attended classes at a french university
babysat
became more judgemental of others fashion choices
been late
bought clothes i didn't need just because the sales were almost over
bought my fresh produce at the tri-weekly neighborhood marché
bought text books from Gilbert Jaune
climbed Montmartre
diné en famille
discovered a diamond-in-the-rough chinese restaurant
experienced "les soldes"
gone to a local mass
gone to a political rally
gone to le Marché aux Puces
gotten my groove on in an overcrowded, smoky bar
had friends over for a dinner party
people watched in the Jardins des Tuileries
ran into friends in the middle of the city completely unexpectedly
read the free metro newspaper every morning
read while sitting next to la Seine
received bad customer service
received terrific customer service
rode the metro
sat in a park on a sunday afternoon and people watched
sat silently on the metro staring at a complete stranger
seen La Mome and fallen in love with Edith Piaf
shown someone around "my" Paris
spent a sunday afternoon in the Marais, just because
spent a sunday afternoon people watching in front of Hotel de Ville, just because
spent over an hour in a music store listening to new music
stepped around lots of dog crap
visited La Louvre
visited Musee d'Orsay
walked away from a museum because of the line
walked the Jardins de Louxembourg
wore 3inch heels when it would have been practical to wear tennis shoes. And been happy about the choice.
wore leggings, a skirt, and ballet flats
